One of our favorite Australian trap producers, Wave Racer, just dropped his Triple J mix on Soundcloud. But it’s only going to be online for the next 24 hours. It’s a choice blend of Melbourne bounce, heavy bass tracks, and frenetic jungle beats.
This is Wave Racer’s first full length mix released on Soundcloud, and he pulls out all the stops. Chilled out tracks from Lindsay Lowend and Flight Facilities bleed into bass heavy trap standards by Mr. Carmack and Baauer.
Admittedly, I have a soft spot in my heart for Three 6 Mafia but if every producer could add a Gangsta Boo track to every mix I would die a happy camper.
My only disappointment with this mix is the lack of any new Wave Racer tracks.
As much as I love What So Not and Flume I have to say Wave Racer is the best thing coming out of Australia these days. I hope to see him start playing more gigs stateside.
