Summer of 2015 I saw Wave Racer and Trippy Turtle on the same stage at Paradiso festival at the gorge. Love them both, if it is a collab I’m super stoked.

Then Peder Losnegard (Trippy) probably said something to Magnus August Hoiberg (Cashemere) like- ‘haha Cashemere Cat?? What a fun alliteration what if there was like a Trippy Turtle?” And I fuckign BET that’s how Lido’s other stage identity Trippy Turtle came about. Thus after this speculative awesome little happening occurred, Peder started busting out dope tracks under Trippy Turtle and it blew up. Peder then made Fofofadi records in which he put himself in charge of under his guise as Trippy Turtle, (Trippy Turtle’s Facebook says he’s the CEO of Fofofadi). Then sometime after that maybe other artists like Wave Racer or I DONT EVEN KNOW were like hey I wanna make this kind of music and did, linked up with Peder under Fofofadi, but also took up similar alliteration names to make it some fucking really cool mystery club OR Drippy Dolphin is just Trippy Turtle and Peder is just docking around because he seems like the type.

So there is: Cashemere Cat, Trippy Turtle, Drippy Dolphin, Booty Beaver, Kindred Kangaroo, and apparently Glitchy Goldfish and probably others. I think Fofofadi is more of a club than an actual record label and Peder and Magnus, (I can’t believe that’s his name), are just having as much fun as possible that just so happens to wonderfully benefit the industry, as many Scandinavian people do.

Also none of this answered “Who is Drippy Dolphin?” and I’m like 4-5 months late to the game and pretty much none of it answered anything at all but just collected my thoughts for myself. But damnit it’s like a cult club and I love it.

i have trippyturtle (lido) on snapchat ahaha and he added a snap of an ableton session playing crazy (his new song), so lido is definitely a part of (or just is) drippy dolphin! his snapchat is yungblastoise.
