Perhaps you picked up on it, but clearly the second track, ATX, is the rawest of the three. The grimy vocal samples fit perfectly over the dark, unforgiving sub kicks and the spacey synth patterns. Needless to say it’s straight FLAME! And unlike many of his other releases, it’s not too short to fully enjoy.

The Waka Flocka Flame homage on Denzel Curry’s Threats is also a nice touch. On the third track, Carmack pays tribute to one of the people responsible for popularizing trap music in America and paving the way for countless other musicians to hop on board.

If this is your first experience with the Hawaiian composer’s music, you better get up to speed quick! This man is swiftly rising to the greater halls of the internet music universe. Check out some more Carmack jams on Soundcloud and keep up to speed!

To continue the anticipation of the release of the official “Wild Out” track by Borgore featuring Waka Flocka Flame & Paige, Dim Mak Records has been putting out a series of remixes of said track.

The most recent of those remixes comes from Los Angeles Boots N’ Pants who put their signature “west coast stoner house” twist on what is expected to be one of the bigger festival bangers to come out this year.

The remix definitely has a completely different feel to the unreleased version, making it almost an entirely different song. The big, boomy bass line and Waka sample make it sound like a track that could go far on the club charts, and the deep womps throughout the second drop give it a garage feel that normally wouldn’t appear in a Borgore set.

Boots N’ Pants, comprised of Matt Jenks and Evan Bernardin, are relatively unknown aside from their recent work with Dim Mak, and their work consists of mostly remixes and one unreleased original mix. I’m sure that with a remix on this on a label like Dim Mak, we’ll be seeing plenty of these two for the coming year.
