Talk about a throwback. X5IGHT gets shit rowdy in the middle of summer with this downright awesome remix of the classic rock track “Wild Thing,” by The Troggs. Putting their twist on festival trap, X5IGHT continues to impress us by continuously choosing to not subscribe to any genre and churn out some pretty rad tracks.

2014 has been full of some pretty awesome tunes from our friends X5IGHT. From their remix of Tegan & Sara to their monster remix for Travis Porter, the Chicago duo has been putting in some serious work.

Their newest release is an original track that continues to prove that they’ve been busting their asses in the studio. “Warp,” is a monster of a “dark house” banger that sounds like Swedish House Mafia and R3HAB had a baby — something totally unique and different from X5IGHTS previous work.

Listening to a phenomenal remix of Adventure Club tracks doesn’t happen too often. The last time we’ve seen it executed was when T-Mass delivered his melodic dubstep remix on their original, “Wonder“, which you can stream here. As if Tegan & Sara’s “Closer” was not good enough already, the Chi-Town duo X5IGHT‘s progressive-house remix of it blows the original away.

With influences of Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Swedish House Mafia, Porter Robinson, Zedd and Afrojack, X5IGHT’s “Closer” remix is for sure not one to be missed.

The song starts off slow, progresses into an upbeat tune in combination of the Canadian duo’s voices lingering over the euphoric rhythm as the drops rises. If you didn’t already sing along to this song, X5IGHT completes that mission. I know I will be singing it to and from class.

I honestly don’t think the world is ready for the power duo that is X5IGHT…

Known best for their impressive remixes of tracks like Zedd’s “Clarity” and Katy Perry‘s “Peacock,” X5IGHT is one of those groups that continuously makes my jaw drop. Release after release these guys truly blow me away with their creativity and unconventionality. Their newest remix of Travis Porter’s “Make It Rain” is no exception.
