Flux Pavilion, or Joshua Steele, the well-known English dubstep producer, is back again with his Freeway EP. This would be his second EP of the year; the first being Blow the Roof released back on the 28th of January.
Starting off with a collaboration with Steve Aoki, “Steve French“, you can feel Steve’s influence as they create this refreshing electro dubstep tune.
Flux takes us back to his classic dubstep and bass roots with “Gold Love” and “Mountains and Molehills“, featuring the fantastic vocal work from Rosie Oddie and Turin Brakes, respectively.
The much anticipated collaboration with Dillon Francis, “I’m the One“, gives the jumpy moombahton side from Dillon mixed with their collective dubstep vibe, creating an addictive track that will have fans pressing replay for days.
Finishing off the album, Flux shows us his down-tempo side with ambient sounds, bass bursts, vocals and melody. Flux Pavilion, once again, shows the uniqueness of his production skills which allows him to stand out from the rest of the dubstep scene.
