Kygo posted “I’ve been looking forward to sharing this track with you for a loong time!” on Facebook. “I hope you like it as much as I do.” “Firestone,” featuring vocals from Conrad, was first previewed in a short recap video of the ‘Endless Summer’ tour, all available on Spotify.

The track is classic Kygo, which is saying a lot since he has his own style and is relatively new to the dance world. While summer has come and gone, this new track brings a fresh tropical vibration to this frigid winter air. Synth lines peppered throughout “Firestone” can cheer you up, even if you’re looking at grey skies and a space heater.

As promised, Kygo has just recently released his second of two remixes planned throughout these two weeks! This week we are presented with his remix of indie folk singer Benjamin Francis Leftwich’s original “Shine“. Yet again, Kygo takes another swing at adding his menacingly addictive tropical house sound while keeping much of Benjamin’s appealing vocals throughout much of the track.  He quite literally flips this slow paced track into an uplifting atmosphere with the chill sound he seems to always flawlessly execute. This time around he has chosen to take Syn Cole’s “Miami 82” progressive house anthem to transform it into yet another one of his signature chill style tracks, perfect for any sunny day out. No word on any download yet, although he stated,

Got really inspired by this melody, so had to give it a shot and make my own version of it. If you like this remix, you can vote for it in IndabaMusics remix contest.

Time after time, he proves to be a prodigy producer with the ability to create tracks that are seemingly always appealing.
