Less than a week after the BUKU Music + Arts Project in New Orleans, one of our favorite acts of the weekend DXXXY has released his entire, hour-long live mix from Friday afternoon at the Back Alley stage.

The mix is full of DXXXY originals, bootlegs, and remixes, along with some other huge trap tracks. If you weren’t able to catch this up-and-coming Nola native at the festival, here’s your chance to see what he’s all about.

The Australian supergroup, What So Not, composed of Emoh Instead and Flume, haven’t only been working on a collaboration with Skrillex, but it seems they are cooking up another absolutely insane collaboration with one of the gods of trap, RL Grime. What So Not has been gaining some major traction off their recent OWSLA After Dark Mix and their monstrous “Jaguar” single. Although the bass is slightly empowering to the recording device, it is perfect enough to hear the melody that they have in store for us. Be prepared to hear this massive tune playing on their future sets because by the looks of it, it blew everyone away. Enjoy!

After over half a year since the release of Random Access Memories, Daft Punk will be performing at the 2014 Grammy Awards. This will be the duos first Grammy performance since 2008 when they shared the stage with Kanye West to perform “Stronger.” 

Daft Punk is nominated for five Grammy awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Engineered Album (non Classical), Best Dance/Ectronica album, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

According to an interview with Rolling Stone, Ken Ehrlich, Executive Producer of the Grammy Awards stated:

We learned that because they had such a good experience with us when they appeared with Kanye in 2008, they were happy to discuss a performance on this year’s show…

Conversations took place over a period of a couple of months, and finally they agreed to be a part of this year’s telecast. Details of the performance are still being worked out, but the idea of having the exclusive television performance by this iconic band is something we’re very, very excited about.

[the show will be] a collaborative and celebratory stage performance that honors their multi-nominated music.

The 2014 Grammy Awards will take place January 26th at 8PM EST and can be viewed live on CBS.
