Since working with Disclosure on their album Settle, Sam Smith has released some seriously kick ass tunes. Collaborating with people like Nile Rodgers and Jimmy Napes on the track “Together,” along with the release of both his EP Nirvana and his debut album In the Lonely Hour, Smith has definitely been keeping himself busy — he even made an appearance with Disclosure at Coachella 2014.

Now, Sam is enlisting the help of two fellow Brits to release two equally awesome remixes to “Stay With Me,” one of the first songs released from In The Lonely Hour

First up, we have a remix from Shy FX, a London native who has been producing since you were born. Known off stage as Andre Williams, Shy FX brings his well-known drum and bass sound to the table, along with some incredible jungle/reggae vibes at the intro making this remix completely standalone and unique.

Next, we have a remix from Wilfred Giroux who gives “Stay With Me” a super dancey club face lift. Giroux’s take on the track chops up Smith’s vocals and throws them on top of a funky fresh beat perfect for getting some asses on the floor. Wilfred Giroux is best known for his track “Stronger,” found on the EP of the same name. Definitely worth checking out…

I know eyes might roll when seeing yet another remix of Disclosure and Sam Smith‘s infectious track “Latch”, but Lido has released the best one yet. The Norwegian producer mixes deep house with elements of trap giving “Latch” umph and grooviness. His sound has tastes of that Cashmere Cat, Jersey club funkiness that makes everyone want to get down to his track.

Sam Smith, made famous from his appearances on Disclosure’s chart-topping debut album, Settle, has officially released his solo EP Nirvana in the US.

Nirvana is a fantastic collection of vocal range that only Sam Smith could pull off. Tracks like “Money On My Mind,” and “Nirvana” are great displays of Sam’s soulful voice and ridiculous range, while the track “Together” is just an all around baby-making funk fest which includes Nile Rodgers on guitar.

Overall this album perfect for introducing someone to Sam Smith’s talents. It’s powerful, soulful, and emotional. I think I’m even going to show my mom.

Late Thursday night English house sensation, Disclosure, put out a groovy new tune entitled “Together”. This sexy single was released alongside disco legend Nile Rodgers (featured on Random Access Memories), “Latch” vocalist Sam Smith, and Jimmy Napes who is credited as a writer/producer. Needless to say, this track is destined for dance music glory!

Over the past year Disclosure, comprised of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, has risen to EDM stardom focusing heavily on catchy, four-on-the-floor house joints and funky future garage hits. “Together”, however, evokes a more laidback feel. Rodgers lays down a couple of delicious guitar licks over Disclosure’s signature garage chords and bass wobbles. Sam Smith delivers an ultra-sensual R&B falsetto, sending this unique release straight into the babymaker sphere.
