Imagine that. Yet another Australian act that is completely blowing up your speakers. After huge success with their last release, “We Can Ride,” Sydney duo Go Freek has released a free download to celebrate their recent signing with Art Killers Artist Management and PR — a new management branch from Sweat It Out.

“Milkshakes” offers a super funky, dirty, “gutter tech” beat with samples from the classic Kelis track, “Milkshake,” throughout. Definitely something to get booties shaking and asses clapping, to say the least.

Australian trio RUFUS releases their official music video for ‘Sundream’ via their album Atlas released in 2013 on Sweat It Out. The track personifies the shimmery, indie dance infused with sweeping synth sound that the trio has uniquely made their own. Their music video encompasses the dreamy vibe that RUFUS so effortlessly creates.

It begins with sunny horizon shots looping into underwater kaleidoscope like footage that match eloquently with the vocals, infectious beats, and “beachy” vibe.  The track’s never ending dreamlike state that you so easily get lost in is reinforced through RUFUS’s abstract and luminous visuals in their video.

The latest release from Sweat It Out comes from Surry Hills, an inner-city suburb of Sydney, Australia, where up-and-coming artist Frames is getting shit done.

His latest EP Pacifique is a combination of classic 90’s house sounds and worldly undertones that make this one of the more interesting releases from Club Sweat.

Pacifique is a three track EP consisting of chill, head-bopping bangers that sounds like Jock Jams on Xanax.

Frames is one of those guys that just does stuff well.

When he dj’s you won’t see him hands in the air doing a “Tiesto”, just playing killer tunes. When he’s in the studio you won’t hear him bragging about some expensive synth he doesn’t really know how to use; you just get these dope promo’s that clearly show he knows his way around the desk.

His last release on Club Sweat was the very awesome ‘Slow’ he did with Jess of George Maple fame. This time our man has hit us up with a tropical re-take on a 90’s classic made in conjunction with fellow Sydney-jock, Felix Lloyd. If Slow was a mix-tape opener, Pacifique is a mix tape closer.

Want more? We gotchu: Overseas is a more housey affair but still reps that Frames groove and warmth we know and love with a great soul vocal, while Lunar Lagoon rounds things off nicely with a laidback slice of groove that could keep an after hours warm or accompany a midday cocktail.

If you’re looking for a nice little mid-week pick-me-up, look no further than the feel-good funky tracks of the day. Think Moon Boots along with a little Oliver, and you have the New York based producer/DJ Felix Bloxsom aka Plastic Plates newest EP, Nothing Like You.

The two-track EP features songs “Sweat” and “Nothing Like You,” both of which induce nothing short of pure, groovy, happy dance music. If you’re trying to get down today, I highly recommend checkin’ this ish out.

Perth trio Crooked Colours have spent the past six months recording music, playing around Australia, and looking for a label to call home. After being approached by multiple labels, the three-piece electronic group has finally settled on the top Australian indie label, Sweat It Out!

Phil Slabber of Crooked Colours stated, “In our eyes Sweat It Out! has one of the most promising up and coming rosters in Australia and we are proud to be part of such a great and welcoming team.”

Crooked Colours released their first, self-titled EP in 2012 and have since been playing some pretty major festivals including Parklife and Wonderland. They draw inspiration from groups such as Digitlaism, Crystal Castles, and Grafton Primary. With a unique and energetic sound, they are sure to be one of the best breakthrough artists the label has put out since Yolanda Be Cool and What So Not.

While most of the acts hailing from Australia tend to produce “melbourne bounce”, Williams’style is more akin to tech house. The two-track EP features the title track, Saw Throat, and the B-Side MTC 100.

Saw Throat has a bouncy house vibe that reminds me of an Erol Alkan/Boys Noize collaboration. I’m personally a bigger fan of MTC 100 which utilizes a solid vocal synth and is remniscent of Gesaffelstein.

Saw Throat is recommended for fans of Dirty Bird, and Chicago style house.

Australian duo What So Not has released what will most likely be their last single of 2013, “Jaguar.” The song features the classic What So Not “Quack” trap sound along with a melodic breakdown and vocals to make it both massive and sensitive. What So Not, comprised of Flume and Emoh Instead, has had one hell of a year this year, and view this track as “the perfect way to cap it off.”

JAGUAR BY WHAT SO NOT – IS F***ING MASSIVE.

If it were a human, it would be obese in every way. Full with melody and hooks, but equally stuffed with an eruption of bass and euphoria, this is THAT TRACK. It’s got the signature What So Not sound, but then it’s like the fat kid hung at the buffet all day, and just plied himself with everything on the (what so not) menu. It’s the hot chick that can sing and dance and hold down an amazing conversation.

A huge staple in the sets of all of it’s creators (Emoh Instead, Flume and of course, What So Not), it’ll be yours very soon.
