As 2013 comes to a close, millions around the country will join together to help ring in the New Year. For the past decade or so, there have been more and more EDM-themed NYE festivals popping up with countless artists, themes, and different specialties to help increase the competition.
With so many festivals happening around the country this year, we’ve decided to help by putting together a list of the Top 3 New Year’s Eve Festivals of 2013-2014.
Lights All Night — Dallas, TX/Mexico City
For the past three years, Lights All Night has been the ultimate destination for mid-western party-goers. The festival boasts some of the best light visuals and performance artists making Lights All Night a completely unique experience apart from so many NYE around the country. Lights All Night also takes place in one of the best venues for electronic music, The Dallas Convention Center: with multiple incredibly wide open spaces, this venue is perfect for vast light shows, live performance artists, and art installations.
The list of artists and headliners at this year’s Lights All Night is a solid mix of long-time all stars and up-and-coming DJs. Some seriously big names like A-Trak, Major Lazer, Deadmau5 and Kaskade mixed with acts like Paper Diamond, Zomboy, and Carnage will make for a pretty incredible couple of days.
This year, the team at Lights All Night crew has even put together a very special show in Mexico City, which will serve as the actual NYE Countdown. More info on this show to come!
