The Funklords known as Chromoe have released yet another video for a track off the upcoming White Women album.

This time, we get the official music video for the poppy single “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” which depicts Dave 1 and P-Thugg acting as wedding chapel employees who marry happy couple after happy couple, much to Dave 1’s dismay.

Eventually, however, Dave 1 snaps and steals a bride away with P-Thugg acting as his accomplice. Who gets the last laugh? Watch the video and find out!

White Women is due for release May 12th, right in the middle of Chromeo’s US tour where they’ll be joined by Tokimonsta and Oliver.

Chromeo has entered the New Year with a new single off their highly-anticipated record White Women.

“Come Alive” hearkens back to classic Chromeo with funky dance rhythms, 80’s synthesizers, and innuendo laden lyrics. The song also features vocals from indie darling Toro y Moi which complements David Macklovitch’s voice quite well.

Come Alive is a vote of confidence for the new Chromeo album, as their first two singles, Over Your Shoulder and Sexy Socialite, seemed to lack the  signature sound we’ve come to know and love from Chromeo.

The duo has yet to set a release date for their first album in four years but chances are we will have it by Spring 2014.

White Women will also feature appearances by Solange Knowles, LCD Soundsytem’s Pat Mahoney, Fool’s Gold’s Oliver, and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig.

Best known for his deep, dirty German techno grooves, Boys Noize has just released his remix for the newest Chromeo single, “Sexy Socialite.” Pulling from the sexiness of the original track, this remix starts out with an airy intro and dives straight into a slowed down, trap-like beat that implements a fantastic use of the Dave 1 and P-Thugg vocal samples.

Chromeo’s highly anticipated album White Women is due to be released sometime early next year. The New York duo has been seen playing select shows in Europe and NYC, and have yet to release any information regarding an upcoming tour.

This morning, the group released an exclusive trailer for an upcoming video for their track “Over Your Shoulder” which will appear on the album entitled, as we have just come to learn,  White Women.

Chromeo: New Album Trailer

Comprised of Dave 1 (brother of hall-of-fame DJ A-Trak) and P-Thugg, Chromeo has been turning out incredibly funky albums since 2004 with their debut album She’s in Control. Since then, the group has been a part of numerous festivals and tours and have been featured on remix albums for artists like Boys Noize, Feist, and Mayer Hawthorne.

While the group has not officially announced a release date for White Women, we can expect it to be out around Christmas time, or sometime at the beginning of next year.
