Yep, that’s right. A 24 hour music video. Pharrell Williams continues to prove his genius with the release of his music video for his newest single, “Happy.” Although there is a standard four minute video, this 24 hour music video is the one that has literally made history.
The video includes footage from over 300 different variations of videos (360 according to our calculations), with different dancers and even celebrity appearances from Jimmy Kimmel, Jamie Foxx, Steve Carell, Magic Johnson, and Kelly Osbourne.
Each video contains one or two people dancing through the street, a restaurant, or even a train station while they sing and dance to “Happy.” There is no denying that this is by far one of the coolest things to have happened in 2013. I mean, come on. Twenty-four hour music video? It’s even cooler than the time Jay-Z did 12 hours of Picasso Baby.
The song itself is catchy as all hell, but watching the video for 24 hours straight will most likely make you not so happy. Check out the 24 hour music video for “Happy” here. If you don’t have 24 hours to spare, go ahead and watch the four minute version below.
